Pedulla Truss Rods - DAMN!

Pedulla does ship new instruments with the wrench. Unfortunately, once instruments hit retailers like Guitar Denter, all the tools are taken out and put into a giant, disorganized storage bin somewhere in the far corners of the store. I've seen this in many a sCam cAsh and Guitar Denter.
Make sure to ask for tools when you buy used or off the shelf!

I have a Pedulla key. Let me know if you want to meet so you can get the key/adjust your bass this week. 410-829-5127 is best.

Man, thanks too all of you with your offers! I'm going to call Low (above) has he is only 25 min from where I live!!! Low, your phone will be ringing later today! Oh, I ordered one, but don't expect it before the weekend. Thanks again to ALL of you!!! Man, I love TB!!!!!!!!!!!:D

Quad-

In case you have never done the adjustment before, here's a quick rundown. You're going to have to loosen up your A string to get in there. Be careful with the truss rod cover when you take it off - it's a thin laminate.

Once you get the wrench into the truss pocket, make sure it's fully seated on the end of the rod - it should go down about a quarter inch to really have a secure grip. You'll feel the tension. Once you start to turn the thing counterclockwise, it will pull the neck back and bring the action down. Go slow, a little bit goes a long way.

Depending on what kind of fingerboard you have, I'd also suggest putting some lemon oil on it as the wintertime humidity changes may have affected things somewhat.

I like to play with a fairly low action - living here in Chicago (right on Lake Michigan) with our fluctuating weather, temps and humidity I find that I have to do fairly continual tweaks. You may have to make another adjustment in the next few weeks as things settle. Let me know if I can offer other suggestions.

I ordered one yesterday via GC. It saved me a few bucks vs going direct to Pedulla and I should get it faster in theory because I would have had to snail-mail Pedulla a money order and GC just calls em up and tells Pedulla to ship it to the store right away and Pedulla then just bills GC. So this was faster and cheaper. Thanks!
Hi,
At Pedulla only one lady do all the works for communicating with us so you will have a tought time if you asking for help.
Pedulla is one of the kind but it is better to deal via your local dealer.
I became their customer about a year where at the begining she gave me a good support but once I became more specific to her things change but I got the gear and love it. Thanks to the guy who made it.
I think Pedulla is loosing customer because of that.
Don't forget to tighten the neck correctly. Its different from most others.

The pedulla truss rods are super powerful, and the tool works perfectly and keeps you from dinging up your bass with a socket or screwdriver. Great design -- you just need to make sure to keep the tool in the case.

it's a square drive and it strips out about 1000 times eaisier than an allen wrench. it's the worst design ever!!!! if you buy a used pedulla make sure you ask about the truss rod before you buy it. you can't repair it you have to replace the neck.

Well you can't replace the neck on a neck-thru but you can replace the truss (or Pedulla can for you).

The design is great, but I had a repair man strip the nut on my Rapture. $450 for a new neck. OUCH! I will never buy a used Pedulla, and if I ever buy another one new (which I probably will because they're amazing instruments), I'll do all my own setups and make sure it's done correctly!
