Personally, I think the Pedulla truss adjustment is an accident waiting to happen. Years ago I bought a Pedulla Rapture 5 brand NEW! About 90 days later Autumn rolled around and the truss needed an adjustment. So, I removed the truss cover and got the supplied tool out for its 1st adjustment. I placed the tool (yes, it was the supplied Pedulla tool in a sealed plastic packet), into the nut and it spun around with absolutely no grip! Further examination revealed that the nut was stripped bare. Apparently some fool at the music store tried to adjust it using the wrong tool and destroyed it. I called Mike Pedulla and he was totally unempathetic. He said I'd have to buy a new neck! Didn't even offer to look at it. The dealer offered to "fix it" by installing a wheel adjustment (like Musicman) but that would involve routing out the headstock. I had had it with both Pedulla and the music store.
I dumped that bass at a huge loss and swore off Mike Pedulla and his fine truss adjuster. Just a poor choice and an accident waiting to happen for the uninformed.
