Hmm...I guess I should take mine off my ATK that I got during the blowout sale last yr.
Its barely starting to lift though...

One time I had a new bass..I had taken the film off the guard..and about a yr later I noticed the truss cover also had the film.I took it off.No prob..and It looked like new.

Now rip that scab off.

Rip that thing off. I hate it when people leave them on - "It's gonna get scratched!"

It's a scratchplate. Kinda the point.

Same with mobile phones etc, but this isn't a mobile phone forum :p

Yeah, I kinda hafta LOL when I see people who leave this stuff on their new stereos, computer components, and other electronic gear. (happens a lot more than you might think.)

That's funny cuz I just found the film on my truss cover too, but after 20+ years of having the bass. Peeled of no prob, it's just static cling (no adhesive).

like my neighbors who covered their floors with newspapers after they mopped and had plastic covers on all their living room furniture. Yup all that stuff looked better than a little dirt uh-huh. Yep.

it's like the folks with new? fishing rods at the river=wouldn't want to soil the cork and all that:rolleyes:,,you can substitite the plastic layer with packaging tape or step up and use duck tape:D

no really, looks like you stole it yesterday in the pic(i could only do one column of'OFF',,tacky man tacky;)
