Personalization of your bass

I refuse to own a bass that potentially thousands of others have. The closest thing I have to a stock bass is the one I built using the stock parts from my other basses!

I named my SS Bronco after Petey from the old TV
series "Our Gang",

Nobody got one like Petey,

Petey is very cool. Odd place for a thumbrest but I'm into short and medium scale basses, especially when they look like Petey.

For 30 years I have not been able
to cure myself of digging down
around the bridge, so I gave up,

I didn't get this one far back enough.

You can see where my fingers wore
the finish. As far back on that thunb
rest as I could get,

I've seen plenty of dudes with big worn spots like that on their basses...I think it looks cool...looks like you used it, and that's as it should be.
