I have a 5 strings bass and, I want to know if the Peterson iStroboSoft works well with basses and the low B. does anybody knows about it?

Well, it's quite a late reply but I've got iStrobosoft and it tracks well the B string. I don't have any Peterson tuner to compare it but I can say it's really a perfect tuner.
But I highly encourage to buy the short adapter from their website, to connect your bass to iPhone directly.

I bought it and for me it's not even picking up the A and E strings...total waste of money.
this is with the iphone mic so I may eventually get the adaptor to be able to plug into it...

iStrobosoft works a lot better if you run it with the available adapter that allows you to plug your bass into the phone. The TC Polytune software is much better for mic use IMO.
