PETITION - Firmware Update to the Zoom B3

Even that i don't see a reason someone wants to blend a comp signal with raw signal you can always do that with the blend (BAL) button on the total patch menu.This is the total patch blend and affects the others 2 fx in the patch also,but you can play with the blend control of the individual fxs to cure that.
That doesn't really make any sense. Just set the threshold and ratio lower if you want less compression.
Signed. Really, I just want some effects lacking from my MS-60B. (Fliptop, GK, SuperB, Rat, Tube Screamer, V-Syn, 4 Voice Syn and Tape Echo) The B3 has them, the B1on has them, why can't the MS?
I wouldn't expect a dbx160 emulation to have a blend on it, mainly since the actual unit doesn't have a blend/mix knob, but I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of a custom ZOOM comp/limiter that has a blend/mix/balance parameter - absolutely. Compressed "blends" are a great way to get the best of both worlds, so you can really slam a signal hard with the comp, but not lose as much low end and dynamics by setting the compressed portion to a low percentage of the blend/mix. I think a lot of bassists would have a much easier time of things if a mix parameter were incorporated in all of the compressors (most typical real-world comps don't have this feature, though some stomps do).
Using the Blend on the TOTAL menu is a tedious workaround that effects everything in the preset. What if you prefer your amp emulations set to 100% wet, but your comp mix is closer to 40%? Sure, it can be made to work in most practical scenarios, but no thanks. Some of my presets are predicated on the blends of one effect into the other.

EDIT: For those who have mentioned that an update isn't worth it to Zoom because it wouldn't pull in enough sales - if we knew that their Bass products would be well-supported and issues we have would be fixed and there would be, if not parity, at least, some kind of bone thrown to us when the G versions are updated with new features, then we would be much more likely to continue to buy Zoom bass products. I'm still a fan of their G products, and hell, the MS60b and this unit both rock, but, I now know how little they care about updating with simple tweaks to improve the experience, let alone proving up-to-date effects, so I am highly unlikely to upgrade to newer Zoom Bass pedals in the future. I would imagine that this shoddy experience will shake other people's faith in Zoom too.

I hate to flog this long dead thread, but hell and snot, after updating my MS60B with all the cool stuff I really would love those effects on the B3, I am willing pay $20 or a bit more to get them.
Yeah, I own the 60B and just downloaded the update.

I know we have been down this road before but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I have already emailed
Zoom NA and may also email Zoom JP.
One of the many reasons I prefer the B3 is the selection of effects and amps that the B3n does not have and I much prefer the graphics but the foot pedal functionality of the B3n is a significant step forward.
