Double Bass Phil Jones D400 and Compact C4 Review

Quoting my reply to the same vid from the PJB club thread on the BG side in case any DB guys might find it of interest:

Very nice, thanks for doing this. That Krivo really does get the NHØP sound! And you don' have to carry a briefcase to get it. Like you, I don't care for the piezo sound by itself at all, but the blended sound is very nice. One of the great things about the PJB amps is the way they sound so good just set flat. Like you said at the end, I also like the Krivo just by itself through this rig - I bet it would serve well on many gigs as a presence/chop-wood/carry-water sound. You also have a lot of Lynn Seaton in your feel and touch, and this is a good match for that IMO.

I think you would very much like the Flightcase/Super Flightcase amps since they seem pretty much like the combo amp version of this rig (without the Headway, of course).
