I agree with most of the negative, but fair comments above. Seems like an amp designed from a strictly marketing angle rather than a real world gigging one- no handles, knobs that will shear off in exactly 5 minutes, easily marked cabinet, etc.

When your only USP is carbon comp resistors and Mallory caps, it might be useful to refer to the immortal Bard:

As a guitarist, I am so sick of this approach that I've started assuming everyone who does stuff like that is trying BS marketing and ignore them on principle.

Very pretty headshells and design aesthetic, but the lack of useful handles, protruding controls, and wonky tech specs is somewhat off-putting.

It worked for me. When I read it yesterday the standout feature was that they only guarantee the filter capacitors for a relatively short period of time. That is a bit worrying that they even consider them an at risk component in a new amp. Recapping if fine and common, but in 20+ year old amps, caps have got better since. Ironically in vintage amps I've tinkered with the degrading carbon comps have been as much of an issue.

They mentioned that they were going to start another thread because the original post was over 90 days old and they couldn't edit it to put the new video links there. So instead of burying the links deep in the thread where they wouldn't be found they started over. It sounded reasonable, I don't think it was to squash any negative comments.

Fair enough, I missed that. I habitually search the threads I've posted in posts to see any activity, it must have been buried a few pages back in the results.

Haha, I just looked an actually laughed a bit. That is seriously poor work, looks like someone first go at an amp kit when they have had no experience of electronics before. Also not really my area but is the basic layout dreadful?

Yes, it is.

Looks as bad as the first amp i ever built, which i would never, ever try to sell to some other person.

I also put handles and corners on mine.

A little late to this party, but here is what one of these things looks like pulled a part. I replaced some of the resistors and beefed up the power supply. Killer amp imo
