Phoenix Precision Bass

Hi!

During the covid-19 lockdown I purchased the most affordable electric bass at the local guitar store.

On its headstock it wore the mark "Phoenix", which now is sanded off and replaced with a sharpie-marking "Maria".

It currently is strung with piano strings, this due to the fact that I have absolutely no budget and a dead piano...

It has some of its roadwear, dings, scratches and two missing fret dots.

A true dream come through, for I am a proud owner of a Precision Bass, customized to my liking and to top it off..., finished in Candy Apple Red with a slight hint of a sparkle!

A lot of thicc phun for a relatively speaking affordable musical instrument!

Cheers!

P.S. They apparently have a website which I am not sure wether I am allowed to post here... please do delete if I am violating any rules!
P.P.S. Phoenix

Dear Winston,

thank you so much, it feels good to keep groovin' and especially in a band^^

To be honest, I have no clue on why exactly I had to post this thread, now a day later and I came to realise that having fun outweighs all the other factors in life.

Thank you once more for the compliment, just for your listening pleasure only, here is an attempt to play with a brighter bass sound on a different amplifier:

Being used to play between a la James Jamerson and Donald Dunn with the thickest flatwound strings (guess which set?) and plucking hand on the pickup cover is quite a switch and it shows that I am no Jaco Pastorius on the tight and bright staccato electric bass playing!

Anyways, have phat, thicc phun Winston and keep that groove on!
