To be continued ...

The GAS part is gone, I just s*** myself over how good that looks.

OK, I will not playing anymore with you, here is the bass finally complete! The Big End, Le Grande Finale!!! :D

Let me review what me have:

Set Neck Type Construction
Maple Body with Mahogany central line and Maple top
Maple Neck with Mahogany central line and Walnut laminates inside
Teak Fretboard
Ebony Nut
Hipshot Rickenbacker Type Brass Bridge
Bartolini Pickups
Ibanez Vari Mid - III Active EQ
Straplocks
Tuners - The Original Ones :D

Just before the end, I decided that I want a F Clef inlay at the 12th fret and Kostadin made it from abalone. :hyper:

There are some differences in the colors, but these are pictures with two different cameras, with different settings.

I hope that you have a little fun with my bass back-to-life story, wish you all the best! :)

That's a beautiful bass. I really like the contrast between the fretboard and body; two really nice colors. I'm digging the "Phoenix vonRickenbacker" on the HS. :D The Rick-type bridge looks good with the traditional solid black pups. I've always liked the Ric bridge, but never the pups. They are just too darn big with the trim rings and all.

Congrats on a beautiful bass. :bassist:

Wow.

Just....

....wow.

At first I thought something was wrong, but I realized that I'm looking at a Ric shape with no bindings. (yes, I know that there are other Ric models without them, but hey...) It's fine without them though, makes it that much more special. Hoping for sound clips soon.

Hello Guys!
Thank you for the good words about the restoration that I did on the bass which Tony (Mephistofel) so kindly presented here. It really was not an easy repair, but the final result is much more important.

Thank you guys once again, thank you Tony!
