Hay, how many posts!!! :hyper:
I'm so glad to see that my blonde Ricky girl has so many fans! :p
Now, seriously, thanks to all of you for the interest showed by you!
There will be more picks and info, soon! :D

I'm guessing they are because it allows them to completely re-cut the neck pocket. It also does away with all the screw holes in the body.

Re-born is pretty acurate. This really more a new bass out of re-cycled parts than a restoration.

Can't wait to see the end of it!!

Yes, exactly, bull's eye! ;)

After that last batch, I'm exited! Personally, I would put 4001 pups in it and paint it tobacco sunburst. Are you finishing it in natural?

I like natural finishes, this one is varnished and polished, but we almost keep the natural look of the wood. :)

Part 8

Filling some holes, making another:

Kostadin works pretty good, he's a master!!! :)

Is there anything from old bass on this new??

Hm, let me think... So, the neck, the wings of the body, tuners, enough. :)

Still want the old pups? I have a project I could use them on.

I gave the old pickups to a friend of mine. He has another Rick copy, which is ready to refresh. ;)

Part 11

The pickups nests are ready:

Yes, I'm so glad to see how things happen with this bass! Every step was carefully planed and discussed, Kostadin gave me different options of every thing which I had meant to change about the instrument! I don't know if you saw his basses and guitars, but it's not just guitar building, it's an art! :)

I promise that will be some new pics later that day! :D
