That Kahler will be so worth it, if you know what you're getting into. Don't expect it to be constantly in use, but they're severly fun, and an incredible effect!

Do you think I should put pickup covers on it (serious queston)? Like a '51 P-bass cover over the P-bass pickup and a vintage J-bass bridge pickup cover on it?

I am pretty sure an ashtray would look pretty good over the bridge.

On a completely different note, and not to chage the subject from my last post at all, I got a new set of strings, I utterly dig 'em, but I'm getting wolf tones past the 12th fret on the low E string, and the 16th on the A.

I'm so confused....

Horrible sounding overtones, or I get really warbley tones up high on the E and A, think of that out of tune warble, only not so extreme.

Damn, everything else about them are incredible, and I usually don't like steels as much as nickle....
