You're about to get (approximately) 8 billion suggestions that will include every imaginable shape, size, thickness, and material -- after which you won't know any more than you know now. I suggest you just collect as wide a variety of picks as you can find and experiment with them to see what you like. Many music stores have a "grab-bag" of picks for exactly this purpose.

I use anywhere from .80-1mm. Basically a fender”heavy” gauge
Some guys like them much thicker.
I like to “feel” the string a little bit. YMMV

Take a $10 bill to a music store, buy as many different shapes and thicknesses you can. Try them all.

If you get sweaty hands, ask them for picks that have the best grip. Some have bumps, some holes, nylon slips less.

My favourite by far are by Clayton - they make them from Delrin. They don’t slip, don’t crack, and they don’t wear around the edges over time. Stiffer material so go slightly thinner. My fave is .73mm (or .80mm works fine too).
