VW Rabbit GTI. The original "Hot Hatch". I had a 1984 like this one except for a red interior. Great car and very useful as a musical equipment transporter.

Came across this beauty while out for beers at our local last night...

Wow! Two consecutive cars I've owned!
I had the GTI right after a Honda Civic Hatchback (the 2nd gen tiny one) which was actually quicker. But the GTI had serious torque. There was a big long hill on the way to pick up my daughter (divorce) and the GTI rocked that hill like nothing.
The Beetle Convertible - fun fun fun. Owned that (a'68 IIRC) in the early '90's. It was a serious death trap. It was kinda held together with duct tape. But we figured we'd go out having fun. :D

Here's a brand spanking new EV for both you tree-huggers and you traditionalists:

"The fact is that the first Cobra had an XHP-260 small-block Ford V8 V8, which delivered 260 hp, and 269 lb-ft. Would something with 308 hp and 369 lb-ft deserve the name Cobra?"

But of course, a Model 3 Performance will still whoop it's butt... (not a small ragtop though, either!)
