Had 3 of the GTs in this household: A 1980 without working shoulder restraints, one from the 90s with the retractable headlights, and an automatic from the late 90s with the double/quadruple headlights. All had the sunroof option.

I had a 79 Celica GT. Really fun car with the 5 speed and rear wheel drive.
I sold it to the drummer in my band. He totaled it in less than a week when he drove home drunk from a party and missed his driveway, hitting the tree in his front yard.

I don't know about the crash rating but those seemed really solid.

We all know about houseboats, so, why not?
And, they came with a Bond girl!Renault 8 Gordini. The fastest version had a 105HP engine, about 12s 0-60mph and well above 100mph top speed which was not bad at all for a 60's small car.
