not really related other than name... my Mother is wanting a convertible and has always been a tbird fan, she is going this afternoon to look at and test drive a silver 2005 tbird.

Nice. Those "reissue" T-Birds have held value remarkably well. As a convertible driver who needs to haul bass gear I considered getting one, but lack of a rear seat was a dealbreaker. So I'm happily driving an Audi A4 conv't.

Bought and delivered (was from someone in the same town... and we have friends with car trailers). Now she needs to figure out how to register it!

As a convertible driver who needs to haul bass gear I considered getting one, but lack of a rear seat was a dealbreaker. So I'm happily driving an Audi A4 conv't.

My sister had a non-convertible Audi... A6 with the big motor, but got side swiped and totaled. She replaced it with a convertible Cooper (her second one). Audi makes a nice car, out of my comfort zone... but would I love an RS 6 Avant!!!

Not sure if it was ever mentioned in this thread, but according to Carrol Shelby (who should know) GLH is an acronym for Goes Like Hell and GLHS is an acronym for Goes Like Hell Somemore.
