Pimp My Ride!!

Reminds me of a story that one of my teachers told me after I came in late for a work review, because some friends had 'pimped' my bicycle as a practical joke, the night before when I was at my girlfriends place. It took me a while to make it rideable again, the reason for being late. The teacher said it wasn't half bad what the friends did and told a story about a guy near his studio in a fishing port. This guy supposedly bragged continuously about his fancy bike. So one fridaynight, while he was in the pub, some colleagues of him took his bike and welded 2 meters of pipe between the front fork and the saddle. Then they placed it back at the pub. Good luck getting home!

Earlier this afternoon I took a corner after a traffic light when I saw one of these in metallic brown at the other side of the road. Fancy, a bit out of place in that part of town.

What surprised me more than the car was the fact that I thought I saw Willem Dafoe in the passenger seat. Not someone you'd expect there, the car was suitable, if it was him.

Spotted this Toyota Celica coupe 1600 GT, a classic nowadays.
The later Liftback 2000 GT was parked in our street when I went to secondary school, always liked these Celica's.

Had 3 of the GTs in this household: A 1980 without working shoulder restraints, one from the 90s with the retractable headlights, and an automatic from the late 90s with the double/quadruple headlights. All had the sunroof option.
