I used to see one of these driving to work, while I cycled to secondary school, in the seventies. Thought those were one of the coolest cars around.
Related because of the rotary engine, Mazda's RX7 (or other RX's for that matter)
For the design and the way it drives, Citroën DS especially the DS 20/21 break.
Thinking about Citroën, The SM Maserati made quite an impression when I first saw it as a kid.
I found out later that it belonged to Johan Cruijff, a celebrity football (soccer) player. I thought it was really cool that Citroën used a 3.0L Maserati engine.
Or a seventies Mercedes-Benz estate, because I liked driving one.
A Volkswagen T1 (De luxe or Samba) was a common sight in my childhood.
I'd give it a more modern and bigger VW (watercooled 2.1 T3 MV boxer) engine and modern brakes + suspension.
I also like Toyota Land Cruisers (J40)

I love LCs. If memory serves, and it may not, that's an FJ45 Troop Carrier (Troopy). Basically a long wheel base FJ40. Looks like 1981+. They didn't get the distribution here in the states that the 40 got.My 76...
