Loved the 'Cuda. Unfortunately, my father was very short sighted and got rid of it and my other sister's '57 Chevy when they ( the cars, not the sisters ) got to be too much to maintain.



I ended up driving these in high school. Not quite as cool.:atoz:

About 5 years ago, a pristine Cuda, white with the black stripe, was for sale in my neighborhood. I took a pic of it and sent it to my brother.


Our sisters car hadn't been in the family for 40 years but me and my brother talked about that car for a solid hour after I sent the pic.
 
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: I love LCs. If memory serves, and it may not, that's an FJ45 Troop Carrier (Troopy). Basically a long wheel base FJ40. Looks like 1981+. They didn't get the distribution here in the states that the 40 got.

I was soured on the Land Cruisers because a college housemate had one and it was CONSTANTLY breaking down. It might as well have been a Jag for all the time he spent repairing it vs. being able to drive it....

My FIL had one of these in his garage - undriven - for years. It was his mother's who bought it new when she was in her 70s. It had only 10k on it and no one knows why she bought it or why he didn't sell it. My MIL finally sold it after he died.
