I'm afraid that, for a large part of my adult life, this was the iconic vehicle. I have far too many hours (and miles) behind the wheel of an M-35 Deuce and a half....but, six wheel drive was a blast off-road... and Lord knows there was a lot of that.

There's way too many candidates to choose from. Don't get me wrong, I love many cars from different manufacturers, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a Mopar obsession.

One of my favorites from the late 80's is the Shelby Charger GLHS. It's just so quirky and full of potential in the right hands.

I'm not a big car guy so I can't appreciate them on the level that you folks do, but as a kid I always loved these (not in this color though). I also loved the air suspension that jacked the car up when you turned it on. (It did do that, right? Or am I remembering wrong because I was a kid?)

I think you're right about the air suspension. Although I'm not usually a fan of white cars, I always thought the Citroen looked good in white, or even better, that off-white color.
An architect, Le Corbusier named one of his houses after this car.
