Apparently, the Citroen DS wouldn't even swerve with a flat tire:

That looks suspiciously like my orange 75 VW Golf.
This is from Google. Maybe your Golf is famous.![]()
I had a 93 Cherokee that I bought new. I ordered it with 2 wheel drive the 4 liter 6 and a 4 speed manual with OD. I got the custom aluminum wheels. I sold it to my late partner's wife in 2000 and she drove it until the wiring harness got fried. They tried to get a new one, but nobody made them anymore and it would have been ungodly expensive to remove one from a junked Cherokee, which the insurance company wouldn't have paid for anyway. So the car was scrapped with just over 100k.I had a 95 Cherokee that I got for free...... great vehicle. Mine was the 4.0 inline 6 with a Quadra Trac transfer case (read: full time 4 wheel drive) and it was a beast.... went through anything with ease. I drove it for a few years, my son drove it for another year and I sold it for $1250 with 242,000 on the clock.
Australian Nova is iconic? Hadn't heard. For an Australian automotive icon, I would've guessed this:
Hadn't heard.
Best part of those is that they came dusted with snow.I thought it was (still do) a good-looking car before the movies came out. It has become a literally iconic car.

And then there this song:Wrote a song about one of these called Lay Down Rambler. 1959 Nash...
Chorus:
I showed it to my girl she thought it was funny,
Said she hoped it didn't cost too much money.
Then something happened to change her mind,
She found out that the seats reclined.
