There are a lot of quick boring coupes and sedans in this generation of cars. You can buy a Camry that will beat a lot of cars off the light. Then again, you can buy a lot of cars that will crush the Camry or Accord. And I don't see any of this generation of Japanese cars as "Iconic".You would, until it blows the doors off your hooptie of choice

The only unique cars are the "retro" models - PT Cruiser, new Beetle, new T Bird.
My Dad had a red one of these to commute to work when I was around 5 or 6 years old. It had a 13-1/2 HP engine made by BMW. It also had a 3 speed manual left hand shift. My mom thought it was frigging death trap so he sold it after about a year.
