Lamborghini Miura from the 60s... mama mia, what a beautiful machine.
And even though it wasn't mass-produced, the Jaguar '66 XJ-13 always takes my breath away...
And I'll stop with this one because all this beauty has me short of breath, but the '61 Aston DB4 Zagato is quite nice.

The Beamer bears a passing resemblance to a DeLorean.
I do! Their engines were made down the street from here.
I used to see quite a few of them bombing around town years ago. And saw some special ones at Vasek Polak back then, too. Even, one sitting right next to a Isetta!
thats a nice carMy wife and I bout a used 1961 Fiat 1500S Spider in 1975 for her first sports car. We then learned that FIAT stood for, "Fix It Again Tony".Sold it a year later. Nice looking car though.

A while ago I was driving through my birthtown with my brother when he asked me "do you know what that car is?", pointing at a seventies sports car.
It was silvery grey with orange, didn't have the make spelled on the side like in the picture above.
Looking at it's talelights I replied 'a DAF?"
It was a Saab Sonett III, he knew because he'd seen it at the garage of a friend that serviced it.
He said it was nice, a bit 'Saab typical'.

About the M1, it was actually pretty famous in Europe in the early eighties.
I've only seen one in real life, on the Autobahn between Nürnberg and München in 1985.
DeLoreans are less rare, or at least I've seen them more often than the BMW.

Tesla S Sedan. First practical all electric vehicle. Extreme acceleration too. Zero to 60 in the three second range and equivalent to 87 miles per gallon. Now that is a truly an iconic car.
