A while ago I was driving through my birthtown with my brother when he asked me "do you know what that car is?", pointing at a seventies sports car.

It was silvery grey with orange, didn't have the make spelled on the side like in the picture above.

Looking at it's talelights I replied 'a DAF?"

It was a Saab Sonett III, he knew because he'd seen it at the garage of a friend that serviced it.


He said it was nice, a bit 'Saab typical'.
 
Holy sheep, I've never seen either of these cars.



The Beamer bears a passing resemblance to a DeLorean.

About the M1, it was actually pretty famous in Europe in the early eighties.
I've only seen one in real life, on the Autobahn between Nürnberg and München in 1985.
DeLoreans are less rare, or at least I've seen them more often than the BMW.
