Tesla S Sedan. First practical all electric vehicle. Extreme acceleration too. Zero to 60 in the three second range and equivalent to 87 miles per gallon. Now that is a truly an iconic car.

My coworker friend who "didn't get" my Model 3 finally got a ride in it today. She's starting to "get it" now. It's going to take the general public quite a while longer yet to really understand what's happening, imho...

I guess you can say people here on the south and west side of LA get it. Tesla's are getting as common as Honda's here. I have been seeing a ton of Model 3's lately.

And old MG's, Morgans, Triumphs, Bentley, Rolls, Aston...

Back in the late 70's I was working as a cook in a busy restaurant/bar. My co-worker Nick had a 72 Camaro that he'd put some work into, and after we closed down the kitchen around midnight we'd go out to party, and if he found another car that looked worthwhile they'd have an impromptu drag. He blew away most cars.
Except one night we ran into an AMX. Since most of the AMC cars I'd encountered were crap I wasn't concerned. Both cars took off and the AMX was leading, and I still remember the tension in Nick's voice as he said "Ohhhhhh, he's got a faaaast car...."
That AMX got and earned some respect.

Nick's car looked a lot like this, only less clean and shiny...

i agree i love the uk cars and esp the bikes. indian motorcycles best in world. the uk and the usa make good cars and bikes thats a fact

Novas weren't cool cars, they were the car your friend's mom drove.
Now I see Nova's looking like this:

Yeah, the two door Nova looked a bit like a mini Chevelle Malibu there for a few years. Still miss my old Malibu in a way. Nope, not really, not compared to my current ride, just a little teenage nostalgia.

A guy I know who has one of these Yenko Nova Cars that is worth a small fortune now. He also has one of these Yenko Camaro Cars too.

Everyone else is about to surpass Tesla with their electric cars... companies who know how to budget, assemble and distribute properly.

I just heard on the radio that their batteries are more advanced and cheaper to manufacture than their competitors. Apparently, they were laughed at for years for pursuing a battery technology that now gives them a performance edge.
