A good washing, new battery and some fluid changes and she will be up and running??? I always loved the 63 split window Vette.

Yuck.

I'm a GM guy and not partial to the copycats. My 68 El Camino is one of the most versatile vehicles I've ever owned. Even being a real 138 SS car (one of 5200 built in 1968) I've used it as a parts hauler and daily driver since 1992.

Mike, these were just meant to be economical utility vehicles with good ground clearance. Nothing more.
ElCamino's are cool. These are just a different kind of cool!

The funny thing with my ElCamino is it sits high enough off the ground that I've been asked if it's 4 wheel drive. I've got big block springs at all 4 corners and oversized tires on 15x8 Rally wheels.... I'll have to post a pic in the spring when I get the car out of winter storage.
