I had an '81 Civic wagon that was a great, ultra reliable gear hauler. Did a ton of gigs with that car.

Speaking of station wagons here. This is my friend's 94 MB wagon which was the last year of the big MB wagons. He recently took it to a dealer and they offered him $1200 as a trade in. He told them to "stick it" where the sun does not shine. Then last week he added new rims, tires and had it professional buffed out and then waxed. The car almost looks new and still is very respectable daily driver. I took this photo just today.

Thanks, it has been a process. I'm hoping for nice weather over the next few days... I have a new fuel tank, pump/sending unit, and a sport exhaust sitting here.

Sounds like a plan.

I'm gathering parts to do a single turbo LS swap in my 81 Camaro. I'm done with the heavyweight 477 that drinks 112 octane fuel (at $11 a gallon) and I'm thinking I can go as quick for less and be far more streetable with an LS setup. Plus, I may even be able to ditch the cowl induction hood and go back to a flat hood to make the car a bit more subtle than it currently is.

So far I've got the engine, headers, PCM and wiring harness...... All for $300.
