Actually not a copy of the AEB-1 but a poor copy of a '68 AMB-1 with a smaller body, without the Scroll Head and nowhere near the quality of the Bruce Johnson versions.

Lakland 55-94 w/ Neodymium HH pickups and Laky preamp.
Nordstrand NX6 w/ Dual Coils and some sort of good pre... maybe Aguilar OBP-3 or maybe Audere 4-band.

I think that's a good lil' trio.

This is an easy one. I have 4 + 1 (in construction) but if I had to choose 3 it would easily be:

Alembic Essence 4
Zon Sonus Elite 4 fretless
Alembic Europa 5 fretless (in progress)

I also have a Zon Sonus Special 5 and an old Heartfield 5 fretless (currently being refinished and refurbished).
