Pickguard for Candy Apple Red with Rosewood?

For a real vintage look go with mint. If you haven't seen one for real, they're not really mint, just an off white that's slightly green/grey...to match the original late 50's and early 60's celluloid pickguard. It will give you the 'classic 60's' Fender look.

If you're going modern, I think white MOP looks good.

I chose Black...

Ahhhhhh it's so hard!

I don't even know If I'm going for vintage or not.

Thing is a want a color of DR coated's on this bass because to me they just feel best. If I end up going mint vintage I'm gonna need to get the normal coated's i guess? Silver Stars or whatever.

I also just realized that the finish on this bass isn't even CAR. Its "Metallic Red". LIke, a shade darker I guess? I can't even really tell the difference.
