Pickguard for sunburst p bass

Can't imagine black on a 3TS. Tort would look really classic 60's, especially if you put covers on the bridge and pickup (might have to take off the BAII though). Anodized gold would look nice, but would be "period incorrect" with the rosewood fretboard. It would be cool too if you could pick up a thumbrest. My vote is tort!! And for years I hated tort. Now I like it.

Now why can't I find deals like that? Honestly, Highway Ones must be the greatest deal in the Fender bass world since I don't know when, and in my local store I've seen one H1 Strat, and that's it!

The three tone sunburst on it looked awesome - almost made me wish I played guitar, but not before it made me wish they'd bring a P bass in with the same finish.

I just did this exact thing yesterday, Took the Badass II off my P-bass and installed a standard Fender bridge and bridge cover. Now I've got a sunburst P-bass with a tort guard and both covers. It's the classic look, and the Fender bridge sounds just fine with plenty of sustain.

Here's mine. Sorry for the poor quality photo. It's got a '62 RI Jazz neck with the finish rubbed off the back, and a Reverend pickup. Plays and sounds killer!
