It does. I'm putting a new cover band together, we have contacts we can get gigs from but I'd like to be able to at least tell them the name of the band we're asking them to book. We've been practicing together about six weeks now, starting putting nominations out there from day one. Here's the list of name ideas that came out:
We played our drummer's accounting firm Christmas party as (His Name) and the Loopholes.Just pick one and be done with it. If you're a cover band and aspire to play better gigs(corporate, etc) keep it clean and marketable.
For a lesbian band I like U-Rok Omama and the Bushwackers.Lots of good choices in your list. I think I'd call mine Lesbian Air Force if I were starting a band today.

Hmm... on both
"The Bushwackers" must be taken. If not, it's a crying shame.
"The Closely-Trimmed Wackers" would be my preference, however.
I like Junk Drawer.
