Pickup positions; for what it's worth

I took the time to compare pickup positions of a bunch of basses - for a mod project in my head. Then I thought; why keep it for myself? Others might find it interesting too. So here it is.

Note that there might be minor errors due to photo angels and such; so don't take it as a scientific work.

I'd have liked to have seen a Fender Aerodyne in there, because the P pickup is closer to the neck than a standard P. But this is awesome. Thanks!

Thank you! And you'd be surprised the difference it makes. Beaucoup low end while still retaining the PBass sound and mojo.

Excellent chart, thanks! I see a lot of similar positions for similar functions because, well, that stuff has been figured out long ago.
