Who does a stellar job of rewinding a Bass pickup? I have a pair of Kent Armstrong's that I am not happy with and would like to have a rewind. I would just buy new ones but these are a different size from anything else.

I still bet Kent Armstrong could do it.
And I know that Sentell Pickups electric guitar pickups could.
And I know that Sentell Pickups electric guitar pickups could.
What size and shape, or in other words, which popular configuration, are the pickups? That will determine whether it is cost effective to replace or rewind, even with the epoxy. And we don't know if it is just an epoxy cap on the bottom, or if the pickup is completely encased. If completely encased, replacement is indicated. If the configuration is proprietary, and not a size or shape commercially available, then you may have to rout out something.
