Pickup selection for my custom project

Hello everyone,
I am working on completely revamping an Epiphone EB-0 I picked up for $80 at a local pawn shop. I love the sound of Rickenbackers, so I was thinking of adding a Bartolini direct replacement for the Rickenbacker bridge position where the pickup on an EB-3 would go. For the neck pickup, I am unsure whether to keep it stock or change it to a Dimarzio Model One (those seem to be the only replacements out there for Gibson?). I also would like to add a killswitch, so I can (attempt) some cool solos, and I'm going to install a Kahler Hybrid tremolo.

Does anyone have experience with either the Dimarzio or the Bartolini? Also, I am positively terrible with electrical work, so I really would appreciate if someone could perhaps help me out figuring out what electronics would work best. Thank you so much for your help, and for reading this long post.
