Saw it in person last night at the Shoppe De LeCompte.

It looks better in real life than in photos...I got to touch it too :hyper:

jealous???? :p

IMO, you guys are smart to be getting one of Bud's basses now. Just imagine how long the wait will be when his basses get really popular.. and i think they will.

I'm still waiting on the bridge to arrive. They've charged my account so that means it should be on its way. The pickups arrived Tuesday. I got the zebrawood headstock lam glued in place tonight. Lookin' good!

Yo Bud,

Still waiting for you to post some pics of my ST-5's little brother... H.B.O. (help a brutha out). :D

It got temporarily put on the back burner. For some strang reason some dudes mysteriously sent me money and expect me to build them some basses. :) I'm going to get a few things knocked out this weekend and hopefully get back on lil' bro next weekend.

Yo Bud,
do you use a CNC to cut the body shapes?

Thanks, guys.

No CNC here. I use AutoCAD to design everything. I then print out a 1:1 scale drawing of the body and glue it with artist's adhesive on to a couple of file folders that are open up and taped together end to end. I cut it out with scissors and trace the pattern on to a piece of plywood or MDF. I rought out the template with a band saw and clean it up on the spindle sander. I use a template and router to cut out all my bodies. Then it's back to the spindle sander for a little clean up before I hit the edges with a roundover bit.
