Pink bass thread

I've posted it before (still need a better pic), but it is still my favorite bass. 80's Jazz Bass Special in "Razzberry":

Pink thread was already going like a month ago

Maybe there's another thread I missed (or forgot), I did see the Shell Pink Club one, but that's a fairly specific shade. Nice (IMO) seeing some of the other varieties like more intense shades, metal flake and, of course, paisley:

I don't think I've ever gigged the Warlock (or even used it seriously - I did audition for an Indie/Funk band using it once, but they weren't impressed). I bought it LONG ago for little money simply because it was a bright pink warlock.

The P-Bass was a home build of random parts from Ebay. I used it regularly for a year or so, for a regular heavy rock gig. It's got a Jazz neck and plays surprisingly well. It's wired in stereo and I ran the P through a whole load of distortion, and the neck pickup ran clean for some really big sounds. The "Barbie" sticker was aded by my (then) very young daughter!

Our guitarist has the new John Mayer PRS strat on order in Roxy Pink. Since, they don't offer a bass, I'm building one. I already have the matching paint and all the parts. Just have to get the body painted and put her together. It's gonna have to wait though, cause we're moving in a couple months :(
