Pink bass thread

Here's G&L's version of Shell Pink. I got it used, love it. If I had ordered it brand new I'd have added a matching headstock FTW.

G&L's Sunset Coral looks sweet too.

Here's my hot pink mini bass that I had converted by Eric's Guitar in Van Nuys, CA from a Jackson Minion 22" scale guitar. I provided the tuners, bridge and tailpiece. I also added the pink truss rod cover. I chose the tailpiece to take up the extra length of the Gold Tone/La Bella MBLS flatwound 25" scale strings.

I would play it. What's their problem?

Other interests. My daughter is busy being the accountant of her husband's big concert audio equipment business in Berlin as well as being a homemaker and mother to two teenagers.

The girl is a busy grade 10 student with lots of homework, studying Japanese as her third language and has more of an interest in drawing and painting than music.

It's my son-in-law who's the music nut with a collection of Gibson Les Paul guitars and Marshall amplifiers. He has a P-Bass and a Sterling too.

I can't wait until Covid dies down completely and travel restrictions are lessened so I can go visit.

I thought this was the budget version of a Lakland? The Tetsuya signature, or something like that?

EDIT: This one.

It's essentially a budget version of that bass as well but I was more referring to the ones made by ESP. (Their ESP version, edwards version, then my grassroots).
With that being said, that lakland is a combined effort of lakland and ESP as well if i recall.

All 4 models are a tetsuya signature range in the end.

Burgundy Mist Metallic for all purposes.

This one hasn't yellowed and aged much yet, but that will happen in time.

That looks really great. Gibson Heather Poly? (Kind of the Gibson version of Burgundy Mist - a little different but really nice in its own right.) Looks like a Vintage Pro/"60s" - great value basses IMO. I've got a '64 t-bird in Inverness Green.

Long story, but tetsuya had the ESP Bardic, based on a Lakland. Then he played several Lakland 55-94's, following which there was an official ESP/Lakland collaboration to make the 55-69 tetsuya sig model which has a number of unique features. In addition to the top end USA model (I have one from the first group they did, love it) there is a Skyline and Shoreline version as well IIRC.
