You mean JP? In series or parallel?Do you mean a reverse P pu or a reversed order of where the P & J pu are normally located? Don't think I've ever seen that combination but it may sound interesting.

The P sounds as good as it should, the J is usable on its own - but put the pickup selector on the middle position and the bass leaps up a gear: the two pickups complement each other perfectly, just a glorious rich sound with both depth and bite
I had the tapped P PU repaired. Re-installed the original PU’s. Sweet.Ya, ya....me too... '82 Schector/ '71Fender fretless neck, Bardons pu's, Satin walnut body modified, maple neck, wired stereo, 2- on/off/on switches. Half volume,off,full volume. Schector case(very well made)
I built this bass with off the shelf parts from Schector.
It originally had tapped Schector pu's
