I see the Phil Jones Bp 800 is 400 watts RMS at 8 ohms and the C4 is 400 watts RMS handling, is that a good match? nice headroom? Just don't crank it?
Phil Jones seems to say a cab should be double the amp power handling.
I'm also eyeing the 450 combo but kind of want a seperate head and cab.
I have small 100 w TC Electronic setup but don't really like the sound, I want to relegate it to back up rig.
Pretty much just blues with future aspirations to jazz I play. I love the sound of my basses through headphones and just want that sound from an amp.
