Good day,
I currently have 2 basses... 1. A Warwick Corvett Classic and 2. a Fender MIM P bass. I would like to get a new USA made bass. If you were to buy just one bass to use 90% of the time, what would you suggest. My budget is $1500.
$1500 is a decent budget. Personally I wouldn't make myself adhere to any prejudice about where it was made.
While I understand, you can get a lot more bass for that money buying something maybe not made in the US.
For a do it all I'd be looking at a jazz style layout. They seem to cover the most ground.
