Play any cover songs today?

Been working something keyboard player in my latest ensemble emailed me. It’s a hopping version of Cold Duck Time with some different chord changes that sounds pretty cool.

If I practice anything these days, it will be new material, or else Pekka Pohjola's lines on Losing Hold, which I'm getting close to now. He was 17.
Frank Zappa wanted him in the Mothers, but it didn't work out, for accidental, regrettable reasons.

I went over set 1 for my cover band = 1 hour. Not gonna list the whole thing, but lots of '60-00s. Play a set (15 songs) a day out of 3 sets.

Usually play thru a set (15+ songs) for the originals band. Play a set out of 2 every day.

So a set of each in the afternoon.

Sometimes just set the old iPod to shuffle and play whatever comes up for awhile = mostly rock, pop, blues, jazz, fusion.
