Double Bass Play Rockabilly with a Baby Bass

Hello everybody
There's someone here that have tried to play Rockabilly slap bass technique with a Baby Bass?
Ampeg or Colombian replicas Baby Bass?
Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I don't play rockabilly, but I use my Baby Bass with a classic rock/oldies group. I use a Schaller magnetic pickup attached to the end of the fingerboard instead of the stock diaphram pickup, and it sounds amazing. Soundmen love it, and it makes switching between my P-bass and the BB easier because I don't have to tweak my amp settings as much.
