I have a ramp between the bridge and neck pups on my red Conklin. However since it "bridges the gap" between the two pups I've taken to calling it a "bridge" (links two points) instead of a ramp (begins at a fixed point but ends at an unfixed point).

Material (wood, plastic, acrylic) that is placed either between the pickup or the edge of the neck and the pickups that assist in playing.. Here's mine between the two pupstimidbassist said:Haha, hate to sound stupid? But whats a ramp?
