Playing Ramps

mark beem said:
Didn't you and I have this conversation already on another thread??

I have a ramp between the bridge and neck pups on my red Conklin. However since it "bridges the gap" between the two pups I've taken to calling it a "bridge" (links two points) instead of a ramp (begins at a fixed point but ends at an unfixed point).

;)

now that you mention it i think we did. mea culpa...

no more smokie!!!! :D

did Bill make the see-through one for you?

roscoe beck had sent me an email when i asked him a question about his acrylic thingy...but i never did find out....is it safe to cut acrylic with a table saw or is it splinter/crack city?

Yeah I requested that bass with one. I like the cool laser engraved Conklin logo on it!!

Can't comment on working with the stuff though.. :hmm:

Oh, and congrats on your continued "non-smokiness"!!! I'm sure your future wife is really proud of you!!

:hyper:

I have a ramp (or bridge or viaduct or woody place to rest my fingers) on my Alembic. Its just a block of ebony between the pups.
