Please give my band page a quick glance and offer feedback.

As far as the songwriting goes, that sounds good. A couple of the songs start out sounding very similar, with the same feel to them and all. But I like it, even though it is a great distance from my usual music choices. I didn't hear an out of tune guitar, but then again, I don't have the greatest ear for that stuff.

Oh "Rocking Girl", I'm pretty sure that one is the demo. I didn;t really contribute much to that one since I'd only been in the band maybe..a month.

The two tracks I'm most proud of out of those are "No Loitering" and "Funk Jam"

I can't wait until we record an album. We have prgressed a lot musically since. We have a song I wrote and sing called "Burning up Barrymore" which has a very late Brand New type feel to it, a very Captain Beefheart type song and another Black Eyes (Not Black Eyed Peas) influenced song with a really cool hypnotic bassline.

But yeah, sorry about the out of tune guitar I suppose, any other critique. I'll make sure to yell at my guitarists.

I am not into your style of music, but you guys are basically doing a good job. You are doing a great job on bass.

I agree with others, the guitar is either way out of tune, or he / she is using some type of effects processor that makes it sound really out of tune. Same results, and since it is in the front of the mix, it is somewhat annoying.

It also occurs to me that perhaps your guys are really youthful musicians, and the "out-of-tune" sound is an attempt establish your own "sound", which throws it into the "artistic" category.

Overall, the band shows promise to me.

Well thanks that means a lot. But no the "out-of-tuneness" is not artistic exploration as much as I would like to claim that at this point. I am the youngest in the band at 17, the oldest is 22. I distinctly remember all of us tuning up before each and every song, we're young but not rookie's. But it is evident now that it has been pointed out.

I'll chase it up. Thanks for listening.

I've liked you. Hopefully some of my almost 2000 "friends" will check you out

Rockin girl has a good feel but it gets really really really (emphasis) repetitive with the rock rock rock...

Vicious Wine is ok, quite nice, as is She Won't Help Me. Seem to follow the same formula so something to watch out for.

Funk Jam is RHCP-ish and quite more complex and more interesting to me. No Loitering also quite good. Both show a more developed musicality. I like the layered vocals (and the left-right balancing).

Overall they sound ok, rather low-tech. I prefer the mixing of the first three but prefer the writing on the last two. Maybe bass drum move up, a bit of the cymbals.

Yeah, all of them were pretty much written before my integration of the band, save for "Funk Jam" and "No Loitering" which would explain the shift in sound.

I've always wanted to record an album like "Silent Alarm" by bloc party. Loud bass and kit, with vocals and guitars being the "icing" so to speak. Thank you for the feedback and liking the page.

Oh, why thank you. We are very influenced by a bunch of Seattle based bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Screaming Trees and The Sonics.\

We're playing a lot more with dynamics right now, and going for a more Pixies orientated vibe.

Hey! I called it right! What do I win? :D

I heard most of the first three songs.

Try this to see what you think... make your vocals more dynamic. For instance, in your choruses, make a three or four note jump ("a mosquito, my libido" Nirvana-type jump) and see how that sounds. A couple times I was dying to here that and it never came out. Otherwise, initial look and listen... cool.

I will bill you later. ;)

So bigger more erratic vocal jumps? I dig it. I think I'll take that on board. thanks.

Your style doesn't appeal to me, but in spite of that I actually really like She Wont Help Me. Nice guitar work on the intros, nice dynamics and the vocals are really working in that song.

I don't care for the mostly monotonal lead vocals of other songs. Need more melody.

The first two songs sound almost identical. You might sideline one of those, they're just too similar. Or at least separate them on the playlist.

Overall, the sound is pretty good for what you're trying to do.

Oh, and one last thing; always wear shirts.
