Please help identify these flats

Is there any way you can loosen one of the strings enough to pull the ball end out to see if there is any silk at the ball end?

The only set of flats that have no silk, that I know of, are the Curt Mangan flats. They also have brass ball ends.
Can I assume Curt Mangan Flats don't have silk at the ball end, either?
I asked about the silk at the ball end because pre-2010 Fender 9050s, made in Mexico at Fender's own factory, had green silk at the ball end but no silk at the tuner end.

IIRC according to some TB members, Webstrings Detroit Flats too were silkless at both ends.

Thanks folks. I think so far, given my locale, Michael_t's suggestion is most likely. It might be surprising, but here in T.O., despite being a large city, finding flats that aren't D'Addario Chromes or Fender is a challenge.
When I first tried the bass in the store, I thought the strings felt like Fender flats, but with no silk ends, I dismissed that possibility.
Went to the Curt Mangan website, but they no longer list the strings. Bummer.

I'm in Winnipeg and stopped shopping for bass strings locally years ago. Talk about lack of selection!
So, did you have a chance to check the ball ends to see if there is green silk?

The old Fender Flats that they stopped making about 10 years ago, had no silk on the tuner ends but had the greenish turquoise on the ball end, Since your photo shows string through body, can't tell if there's silk on that end or not.
They look a LOT like the old Fender flats. A lot.
But those had green silk at the ball end.
If they don't have silks at the ball end, I have no idea what they are. Maybe old Fender flats and someone removed the silks?

Closer inspection this morning revealed silk at the ball end. They are indeed Fenders!
Case closed. Back to the Mystery Machine, gang!

Can I assume the silk is GREEN?
The current version of Fender 9050 Flats, now made by D'Addaro, have green silk at both ends as well as color-coded ball ends (gold-red-silver-green, E-G). And they're not the same strings Fender used to make before 2010. I have no personal experience with the previous version so can't comment on how they compare.
