The three filled?spots are where the original bridge would have mounted. The other holes are from a different bridge. Jack location could have easily been changed.

Cheapest Ive found so far is $65 on eBay. I don't think that's too expensive. Since this isn't anything too special I'm not concerned about being "correct" on every part. What would be some good quality and relatively reasonably priced pickups to throw in here? Keeping in mind that the majority of music I play is rock/ metal...
Bear in mind the Japanese bridge parts were metric , the Gibson parts are not . Epi replacement parts are metric too ...
When I was quickly looking yesterday I found Allparts 3point bridges for $75. And one e-bay store that was selling 3points for $50. You might find someone here with one to sell .
Or you could put any other bridge on there ... it's just a matter of screwing it down and leaving a little adjustment play or intonation .
I would try and put a 3point in there myself ... good luck . Should be a nice project to clean up and fix up . Post pics !
See if the pickups are working first . The lawsuit pickups Ibanez made were not all that bad . Same with the Arias . There were also several more copies made , some had set necks like the real things .

The first thing would be to take off the pick guard and see what's going on underneath there. You may find that nothing's been done and the original routes are intact or you may find big gaping holes. It's probably original since it looks like stock pickups. Where are you located? I have my Epi T-bird bridge That I replaced with the Hipshot but you would need to find the threaded inserts for the body. PM me, John
those pickups look like the real deal anyway. Did Gibson put any markings on the back of the pups ?
You could simply screw in a Fender style bridge that would be much easier to set up and adjust ... but the classic Gibson style 3point would look the best to anyone that is at all familiar with that style of bass .

Ok I just started the tear down and I'm instantly terrified! It's a wiring nightmare! This is what I'm dealin with. Question is, do I attempt to find a diagram and spend the time requiring the whole thing or do I just junk the electronics and start from scratch...??? Opinions please!
