POG Questions!

After a fair amount of consideration (for me anyway...), and reading reviews here on TB, I've decided that the next effect I'd like to try is the POG.

Though I do have a few questions:

1) what are the dimensions of the POG?
2) where does the power chord of the POG enter the unit? and is the plug a boss type connection? I know it runs on 18VDC, but I'm gonna pick up a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 so running 18V won't be a prob :D

Found the dimensions of the POG (on the BP website): 8"x7" (approx.) :eek: :eek: :eek:
I re-read the manual, and found out that I'm blind, as it does mention true bypass!
Also it doesn't really matter where the input for the power is, as I will have more than enough space on the board I'm gonna get.

*slaps self* I wish I wasn't so tired... :bawl:

Now all I gotta do is save up for it!

hey, if "The Fiery Pits of Hell" is anywhere near LA (if seems like it would be, for some reason), then you may not have to save up so much!! just stop on by guitar center Sherman Oaks (in the valley) and pick one up!! just ask for dave, i'll take care of you and give you a great deal! or call, maybe i can ship it to you! www.guitarcenter.com and find the number for the Sherman Oaks location. ask for dave, and mention TB!

Hey, JetPack: One question that I couldn't find out was, what style of plug for the power adaptor? is it boss style, or something else? pics would be awesome, and probably save a lot of confusion! ;)

It looks like it's boss style, but it is not quite the same size. English standard measurement instead of metric? Unsure, I've not really looked into it, but I don't have a cable that fits it with my dunlop power brick.

Is the center pin too big for the dunlop adaptor ends?

if so it's probably 2.5mm instead of 2.1....

sounds like I'll be building my own Y adaptor! :D

dudemang! i'm canadian, too! i'm in la, now.... i'm from montreal.

victoria is BEAUTIFUL, by the way.

um, well.... the pog's supply is an 18V 500mA (barrel/boss style)... the brick SHOULD power it with the 18V plugs on the side. i use a furman pedal board, so i plug the original supply in. the thing ROCKS, mang. you will enjoy!
