Is there a joke I'm missing? Is this a rebuttal to the more common "There's nothing you can do on a 7 string that you can't do on a 4 string?"

I could deal with all of those the one that gets me is When an OP lists 3 of whatever to choose from and people say something not on the list. I know they are trying to be helpful but the OP has Narrowed it down to those 3 for whatever reason. you should at least pick one of the 3 and then say also look at this

Without a doubt, it's the "use the search function" response, especially if the search terms produce a billion irrelevant hits. It's up there with "use google". The "use google" response is especially irritating, because Google would be nothing if it weren't for people actually answering questions. So just answer the damn question or hit alt-F4.

However, what's the best _____ for metal is used as a joke reply quite often.

I wouldn't put it in the most common or most annoying list though.
