There are folks who seem to *refuse* to use google or do a simple search of the forums; But there are polite ways to remind them to do so that are better than "Try searching, numbnutz!"

Great shout! However I believe that would fall under most irritating and redundant thread "titles", this falls more under the umbrella of replies.

what irritates me the most is ridiculous threads that are like all the others; except with a slight twist to make them just a little different than the rest-
for example-
"is 5.65 lbs too heavy for a micro bass head if it is fitting in a gig bag?" stuff like that.
Unequivocal opinions about if you should/should not use a pick, and that if you do, you are/are not a 'real' bass player - followed by the usual litany of redundant responses about all the famous bass players that have used a pick...
I find almost nothing annoying on this site, except for possibly the 'use the search function'. This is a big site, with lots of traffic.
Well, there are a few things I find annoying, but it's not any one phrase or particular subject. In the interest of keeping this thread to sub-30 pages, I won't mention them, since I'll only have myself to blame for getting myself annoyed.
25 year relic comment makes me want to rip my hair out the most
What's a 25 year relic comment ?

But seriously, I guess it's more of a poster's behaviour, rather that what they say that irks me somewhat. Well, there is that whole anti-lefty teasing that occasionally rears its right-handedness head.
All right, well here's one that's sure to get some people to anti-like this post (doesn't really annoy me, but I'm reaching here, purely for entertainment purposes): the (sometimes) exhaustive list of gear a person might have in their signature. Especially if they only impart a short, terse, one-sentence post in a response. It was quite funny at first, but then, it's like in my face all the time. Like, I get it, your basses are intrinsically more valuable than my combined lifetime earning power, and this site does function as a word-of-mouth advertising GAS station, but c'mon.
