I ordered my MIM Deluxe P-bass Special in blue, cause that's my favorite color in general. But the dealer received this Chrome Red puppy the next day and called me to come see, since that was the only difference from my order. The original gold pickguard looked horrible to me, but when they held a pearloid PG over it I saw the possibility. When I played it I fell in love. The blue came a few days later, but didn't move me as much. 
), I had to vote for Midnight Wine, because that's the color of a bass I actually own!
