nope, sorry  . For some stoopid reason, I didn't get to sleep `til about
2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. It's probably for the best what with that
gnarly storm that passed through north Tejas and did some REAL damage
in Mississippi :( . Besides, I hadn't deposited my paycheck yet. I know if
I walked into Larry M's, I'd miss this month's house payment :p .
I'll check it out soon as the auto-deposit kicks in :D.

Bassturd, this isn't the first time you've been, shall we say, somewhat forceful with your opinions and told us all to "bow down" to your choice of amp - I'm sure that sooner or later, someone will express their disagreement in a similar fashion. You're entitled to your opinion, but so is everyone else.

Please, don't write in capitals either - a lot of people don't like that either. There are quite a few volatile personalities on this board, and you're heading for a clash with at least one of them - I think it's only fair that you know what you might be getting yourself into. Next time I see a post like this, it's getting edited.

Thanks in advance for (hopefully) your co-operation. :)

I have had alot of amps over the years and some great ones . in the late 70s and 80s I played rock and used a svt with 8x10s , went to a peavey 1810 for top-40 changed to a hartke 3500 head and 2 hartke XL410 cabs moved to a carvin head to GK. then I played with a SWRsm500 that was it . I loved it, changed to 2 goliath2 cabs, killer sound and it could rock and hold slapping, now I use a SWR 750 with 2 goliath 3 cabs, i still have a ampeg svt2 head {cant let it go } but I love the SWR system. I have to vote SWR !

Actually Musician's Friend sells Eden. Not a big selection but they sell it.
Hmmm. Their web site indicates that they carry a rather large portion of Eden's product line. Are you sure? (I realize that their paper catalog shows very few Eden items.)

Yeah I was talking about their paper catalog. I haven't checked out their website fully. I gonna go there now and check it out now that you have mentioned it. :-)

MESA/BOOGIE rules

take it from a bassist who is enrolled in the Berklee Music Recording program
Well, that certainly makes me think that M/B rules... I mean, I have to, since there happens to be one Berklee musician who's using M/B gear...

Snob. :p

Fender is the stuff. Take it from a bassist who uses one every week in Ankara bars...

The thing I really love about the amp is that I can go to my gigs in a cab...bass and shoulder bag over my shoulder, and just carry the amp up three flights of stairs without raising a sweat. and still be heard.

Now, who is the OTHER guy who showed the good taste to vote for Fender?
